Prayer is the bedrock of our relationship withGod. It is the time that we spend seeking that closer relationship with the creator of this diverse place we call earth.
We share times of joy, times of pain. Each and every one of us receive through prayer, that’s why we continue to pray, that’s why we have faith.
I’m reading a book on 24hour prayer and the amazing thing is that so many groups of Christians through time have done this 24-7 for years. On the 13th of August 1727 a group of Moravian Christians, led by the Holy Spirit began to pray, it continued without break for over 100 years, amazing!
Wouldn’t that be amazing if it happened in our community, a group of Christians not under the umbrella of any one church, but in Jesus’s name got together and started praying.
Praying for Gods Kingdom here in our town, for His love to be spread out amongst our community, for his Church to grow and grow and grow here in Congleton.
24 hours of prayer seven days a week.
Not by our will but God’s will.
We meet weekly at Wellspring for prayer on a Wednesday evening: 7.30pm – 8.30pm
Throughout the year we have 12 hour and 24 hour Days of Prayer with specific focus or themes. Provision is made for quiet rooms, group prayer rooms and fellowship in the lounge for non stop refreshment and sharing.
NEXT 24 HR PRAISE/PRAYER EVENT IS 28/29TH JUNE 2014. See under ‘What’s On’ for details.

“Every great movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure.”
D. L. Moody.
‘Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. I any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord………the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective’.
James chapter 6 verses 13—16
